Refund Policy

BC Minorities in Film and TV Society (BCMFTS) is committed to delivering high-quality programs, workshops, and events for underrepresented voices in the film and television industry. We understand that plans may change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible in our refund procedures.
Program & Workshop Registrations
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@filmminorities.com no later than 7 calendar days before the start of the scheduled event or program. A full refund will be issued if the request is received by this deadline. After that, no refunds will be provided unless the event is cancelled by BCMFTS.
Event Ticket Sales
All ticket purchases for film screenings, festivals, and public events are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by BCMFTS. In such cases, ticket holders will be notified and given the option to receive a refund or transfer their ticket to the rescheduled date.
Donations and Memberships
All donations and membership fees are considered final and non-refundable. As a registered non-profit organization, donations support our community programming and are not eligible for reimbursement.
Cancellation of Events
If BCMFTS must cancel or postpone a scheduled event due to unforeseen circumstances, all registrants will be informed promptly, and full refunds will be issued where applicable.
Processing Time
Refunds, where eligible, will be processed within 14 business days of approval. Please note that refund timelines may vary depending on your financial institution.
