About Untagged Film Festival
The Untagged Film Festival is a bold new initiative by BC Minorities in Film and TV Society that celebrates untold stories and underrepresented voices in film. Focused on amplifying BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, disabled, newcomer, and intersectional creatives, Untagged challenges stereotypes and showcases narratives that defy conventional labels.
Our mission is to create an inclusive space for emerging and established filmmakers whose work redefines identity, culture, and community through powerful storytelling. Featuring screenings, live panels, workshops, and networking events, the festival is a platform for change and a catalyst for connection in Canada’s evolving film landscape.
